Long Walkers: Crook Peak – 8 miles

Starting at Axbridge, this walk begins along the old Strawberry Railway line path towards Winscombe. Here, we will pass St. James Church and start the climb towards Crook Peak. The route ascends steadily and is not too difficult, although steep in places. After enjoying the views from the top of Crook Peak, we will descend down a grassy ridge following the River Axe to Cross village, back to the start.
