10 met up in Keynsham, welcoming new member Penny on her first walk with us. Rather lower number than usual for the Strollers, possibly on account of the recent extremely hot weather.
We first made our way to the Keynsham (Italian) Deli for coffee and a chat. Then, returning to the river we made our way through the Park via the Mill to open fields, unusually with no cattle present at all. The ground was dry and firm without the mud experienced before, so easy-going. At Chewton Keynsham we joined the road to cross the river and begin our way back through fields (again no cows) to Keynsham.
From the Car Park we all repaired to The Talbot for lunch where we were joined by Barbara. A fine day for a walk in very sociable company.
