Amblers: Newton Mill – 5 miles

This circular walk near the edge of Bath takes in the Bath Mill, Newton St. Loe and the River Avon. We cross both the current and old railway lines between Bath and Bristol, passing over a tunnel entrance of Brunel’s Great Western Railway.

The walk is less rural than other walks and follows some of the riverside, traverses several small hills and crosses a couple of busy roads. The coffee stop will be at Newton Mill where coffee can be purchased. If people want to have lunch at the end of the walk, we will convene at The Boat House which is next to the Newbridge Park & Ride.
