Combined: Back of Bath – 5 miles

This first walk of the year takes us through Bath on a route that you may not be familiar with. It takes us along the river, through parks, along the canal and through certain less-travelled backstreets.

It is relatively level as it sticks to the valley in Bath, and a lot of it is along well-maintained paths and streets. Some of it is along rural paths, so we may encounter a small amount of mud.

Most of it is fairly sheltered, so it should be suitable, even if the weather is not as good as it might be.
