Our programme of walks restarts in May (assuming the lockdown relaxation continues as advertised). The season starts with an 8-mile “Bluebell” walk on Saturday 8th, and a 3-mile walk along the River Chew on Saturday 15th. Being affiliated with the Ramblers, we follow their guidelines, and are thus “Covid-secure”. In fact, we are classed as an outdoor sport and so, technically, we come under those rules.
You may notice that there are no “Amblers” (4-6 mile) walks in the programme. If enough people are interested, we will add walks of this length to our programme. Indeed, if there are enough takers and people willing to lead them, we will put on further walks of any length. So, please make contact if this appeals to you.
