We had a beautifully sunny day for our walk which highlighted all the amazing colours of the autumn trees as ten amblers set off from Chew Magna. Although quite muddy, the ground was much firmer than expected, so it was fairly easy walking and we were able to enjoy the magnificent views.
We stopped at the standing stones at Stanton Drew for our coffee break and then off again ending up back at a busy Chew Magna, where five of us had hot drinks in the local cafe before our journey home.
