Audrey and her husband were keen members of our walking club and were always very welcoming to new people, sharing stories while we walked and having a laugh. Today there was a lovely memorial service for Audrey at St. Luke’s church. The lay minister conducting the service knew Audrey well, and this was reflected in the way she spoke during proceedings. Jane and Clare read 2 poems and 2 of the grandchildren sang, accompanied by another on piano.
